Analysis of LinkedIn in investor relations: video content as untapped potential for DAX and MDAX companies

The Hamburg-based communications and strategy consultancy for financial communications and ESG Kirchhoff Consult, together with junicorn Consulting, has analysed the LinkedIn posts of DAX and MDAX companies on the results of the third quarter for the first time. Back in March 2024, the two consultancies published a study that focussed exclusively on the Q3 2023 LinkedIn posts of the 50 MDAX companies. As part of the current analysis, the posts of the company accounts were systematically analysed according to format, content and reactions. The aim of the study was to gain insights into the use of LinkedIn as a communication platform for investor relations and to derive best practices for effectively addressing the target groups.

Governance: Insufficient ESG expertise on supervisory boards in the DACH region?

ESG criteria are also playing an increasingly important role within corporate governance, for example through remuneration criteria. However, even though the majority of large corporations in the DACH region have already established corresponding governance structures, there is still some catching up to do, particularly with regard to the competence profiles of supervisory boards and transparent reporting on payment practices and lobbying activities.

German IPO market remains challenging in 2024 - signs of recovery in 2025

The latest IPO study by Kirchhoff Consult shows: The market for IPOs in Germany remains tense. With four IPOs - one more than in the previous year - the German Prime Standard recorded a slight increase. However, after €1.9 billion in 2023, the total issue volume in 2024 was only €1.5 billion, the second-lowest figure in the last ten years.

Team Farner Partner Companies have achieved their first certified Carbon Footprint

Kirchhoff Consult and komm.passion from Germany, Farner from Switzerland as well as VIM Group with offices in Germany, United Kingdom and the Netherlands have become the first companies within TEAM FARNER to record all climate-relevant data for the 2023 fiscal year in accordance with the international Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol standard. Investments in property shares – price gains and optimistic outlook

Hamburg, November 19, 2024 – The Hamburg-based communications and strategy consultancy for financial communications and ESG Kirchhoff Consult has published the eleventh edition of the ‘Kirchhoff Sentiment Indicator Property Shares’. The experts surveyed are optimistic that the prices of property shares will continue to rise in 2025. The sentiment index reached 47.7 points on a scale of -100 to +100 and is therefore significantly higher than the last survey with 15.7 points.

Companies in the DACH region delay decarbonization: emissions reduction lags behind previous year

Hamburg, 15 October 2024. The major corporations from the DACH region are still on course for decarbonization. However, the pace has slowed overall and does not correspond to what would be required for a realistic 1.5°C perspective. This is shown by the study “Climate Change – Reporting on Decarbonization” by Kirchhoff Consult and BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.
