Klaus Rainer Kirchhoff is widely regarded as one of the most prominent consultants for IPOs, investor relations and ESG across the German-speaking market. He has successfully advised a total of 72 companies on their initial public offerings. In addition, more than 1,000 annual and sustainability reports have been developed under his leadership, many of which have received international awards. His consulting services combine capital markets insight, strategic communication and deep regulatory expertise. As Founder and Chairman of Kirchhoff Consult GmbH, he has built a leading consulting firm specialising in reporting, financial communications and sustainability.

Since 2020, Klaus Rainer Kirchhoff has served as an Ambassador for the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) in Germany. Prior to that, he served for more than a decade as Honorary Consul General of Romania for five northern German states. He has also served on various supervisory boards.
In addition to his work in the capital markets, he has undertaken extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a Certified Chinese Medical Qigong Master and has completed international training programmes in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

After completing his studies at the University of Hamburg, Klaus Rainer Kirchhoff practised law for more than 30 years. Through the establishment of Kirchhoff Consult GmbH, he has built one of the leading consulting firms for ESG, reporting and IPOs in the EMEA region. The company advises clients on capital markets communication, sustainability reporting and initial public offerings (IPOs), and has built an international reputation, particularly through the development of high-quality corporate and sustainability reports.

Over the course of his consulting career, Klaus Rainer Kirchhoff has successfully advised 72 companies through their initial public offerings, thereby establishing a distinguished reputation in the IPO advisory market. At the same time, his consulting firm has overseen the conception and production of more than 1,000 annual and sustainability reports, many of which have been recognised with numerous international awards.
