Kirchhoff Consult Awarded Platinum Medal by EcoVadis

Kirchhoff Consult GmbH has been awarded the Platinum Medal by EcoVadis, marking the first time the company has received the highest distinction in the globally recognized sustainability assessment. This achievement places Kirchhoff Consult among the top 1% of approximately 150,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.

Key factors in this success included our materiality analysis and the certification of our carbon footprint."

EcoVadis evaluates companies across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The ratings are based on the quality of a company's sustainability management systems and its commitment to promoting transparency throughout the value chain. Kirchhoff Consult significantly improved its overall score from 59 to 84 points, with a standout performance in Environment and Labor & Human Rights, where the company achieved approximately 90 points in each category.

EcoVadis Training Partner for assessment of sustainability performance

EcoVadis training partners are selected based on their proven expertise in sustainability and corporate responsibility. To earn this designation, partners must complete comprehensive training on EcoVadis’ methodology and assessment process through the EcoVadis Academy. They must also demonstrate a deep understanding of environmental, ethical, and human rights issues and obtain at least a silver medal in their own EcoVadis assessment.
