CSRD “Round Two”: Analyses, Trends, and Lessons Learned
The second CSRD reporting season is now behind us: What have companies learned? How are they responding to the prospect of a revised version of the ESRS? And how do German companies stack up against their European counterparts?
As in the previous year, the team at Kirchhoff Consult analyzed approximately 100 reports to assess how the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) were implemented, identifying best practice examples as well as weaknesses in reporting.
The implementation of CSRD and ESRS in last year’s reports varied significantly in terms of transparency, scope, and presentation style. Liz Gacon and Julian von Pressentin of Kirchhoff Consult are providing an overview of this year’s CSRD reporting practices. They will also explain how to take a pragmatic approach to the current regulatory landscape.
