Webcast: Materiality analysis according to CSRD - Important step towards the first CSRD report
Around 15,000 companies in Germany alone will be subject to the new reporting requirements under the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) in the near future. The first reports will be due as early as 2024. But how can companies best prepare for the CSRD? How can the various requirements of the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) best be structured?
In our Capital Market Partner Webcast with Deutsche Börse Cash Market, Vincent Giesue Furnari and Julian von Pressentin explain the basic concepts of mandatory sustainability reporting. They also discuss the EU Commission's amended draft ESRS published on 9 June 2023.
One thing is certain: the materiality analysis is gaining further relevance and is decisive for which disclosure requirements and data points will have to be reported - it will become the core of the CSRD.
